I finally got some time to snap a pic of my cajun bandit stacker tonight.

i originally wanted to put it on wheels, but couldn't figure out how!

now i don't really care enough.

My driveway is slightly sloped, wheels might not be a good thing.

The portability would definitely help though!!

Hey Troy,
Just went ot the secrtet link. Here's the description:
Quote
The all new BBQ Stacker can increase the cooking capacity of a Weber Smokey Mountain (WSM) or Cajun Bandit smoker by more than 50%! Or you can use it with a Weber Charcoal Kettle as a smoker. The WSM version comes with the 22" stainless steel extension ring and an extra cooking grate. It will only fit a 22" Weber Smokey Mountain The Cajun Bandit version will fit the Cajun Bandit smoker conversion as well as the 22" Weber Kettle. Add an optional charcoal ring and heat deflector for $20 more (recommended if you're using with the Weber Kettle)
I am confused, which version will work on a 22 Kettle and a 22 WSM?
I have both.. But putting it on a Kettle would be the coolest thing..

the kettle version will fit a kettle and a cajun bandit

the WSM version will only fit a WSM (as far as i know, i'm waiting to hear back from chris to straighten it out)

i don't have a 22 WSM to test it on

Send me one to test.. Lol.. of course I will send it back when I am done.
Yeah, sure.
Does this gig have perks? When do we get all the free Weber gifts?
I think Weber should have us as Product Testers..

my gig has perks! (from cajun bandit)
long story short - his business partner left him high and dry
he couldn't fix the site

i told him i'd fix everything up and he could pay in products.

in the long run, if i were to have charged my normal consulting rate, the products wouldn't pay for my time and hosting
However, Chris is a hell of a nice guy, and his products are top notch. I love taking care of his site - i just wish I had more time to work on it!

It would be awesome if we could be product testers for weber!!!

Very nice, but pricey! I originally heard it would be sold for $109. Is the extra $20 with the ring and deflector the total $139? Or is it $139+$20 more for the ring and deflector? Either way, it's up there. Do we get any dicounts for buying one and pushing testing them? ;)

By the way, now the mystery on how you got them to paint a red middle is solved. Will they be offering that to us now? ;D

Last question, how tall is it?

if that's what you want to call it.

i'm one of those 'yes' guys - but i rarely follow through :(

the 20 bucks extra is for the coal ring and heat deflector.
it is pricey, but it's heavy stainless steel - and it fits like a freaking glove!!

I don't, but I will.

It's an aluminum disc about 20" in diameter.

one of brian Ms threads had a pic of the inside that showed the deflector

Does this mount on the lip of the WSM?  Is there any plans on making this available for kettles, where there is no lip?

Here's the deflector. It's not something I need, but if I ever buy the stacker and it comes with it I will use it. I use a thick "16 stone and a large "16 drip pan on that. The problem is I rarely ever cook enough to need a stacker. It's just nice to have the extra room when you do. I'm on the fence at the current price.
