Leftover wings.
« on: July 26, 2014, 06:24:47 PM »
I have a habit of cooking too many wings. This is not normally a problem if they aren't sauced. I can usually use them in a casserole or similar. But my wife won't let me try that with the sauced wings. And in all honesty, I'm not sure how it will go.

Do you guys do anything other than just reheating?
If it breathes, we can cook it!

Cut the meat off and either put it on top of a pizza or mix into a salad. Jerk wings are great on a salad and hot wings on a pizza!

I eat them cold and have had success reheating in the toaster oven.

Hot-sauced wings, deboned and chopped then blended into a baked macaroni and cheese casserole. Do you like fried rice? Have a wok? I think it would be marvelous in that. After reading this, I'm going to buy more than I need next time...I always seem to have just enough.

not familiar with the "left over wing" problem.

Hell, I am sure that is the 1st time I muttered those words.

I like to wrap them in foil and throw them back out on the grill.
