Thank you for the warm welcome.  Those looked great.  I was saying the same thing about jelly to my neighbor.  I think I'm going to use apricot preserves as a dipping sauce.  I might try some with the bacon turned into pig candy: brushed with maple syrup and covered with brown sugar.  Now I just have to figure out how to post pics more effectively on the site.  I look forward to reading more posts from you and the rest of the WKC.

 Yeah, that's what I would change, to use thick jam / preseves.....

Made them again yesterday and served with Smuckers Apricot Simply Fruit as a dipping sauce.  OUT OF THIS WORLD....the perfect finishing touch.

This sounds interesting.  There would be a lot of contradicting flavors going on at one time here.  Its hard to imagine how it would taste!
