I saw someone post that you could mount the old style SSP ash catcher ring with bailing wire. Does anyone have a link to this thread or any pics of what this looks like?

I used copper wire to install an ash ring on a kettle that the legs would not accommodate the ash ring tabs. 



You can use copper wire or bailing wire instead of the heavy gauge wire that is depicted in the WKC blog link I posted above.
