Father's Day dinner on the daisy wheel.
« on: June 16, 2013, 07:37:23 PM »
After a long ride home, not really eating anything decent tasting on the way. It was time for a good meal. Thawed some boneless pork chops, sliced some fresh zucchini.

I gave the black 93 daisy wheel kettle the nod tonight. I love figuring this air flow out. And it doesn't fool around with high heat cooking with wide open vents.

Love the way the chimney glows at night

Nothing like seeing the coals reflecting off the clean bowl. I tossed a handful of mesquite chips in right before the chops went on.

My new summer favorite brew

Chops and zucchini just about ready

Plated up with some rice and creamed spinach

The finished product

I think tomorrow I might try some kettle fried chicken for a nice change up. I'll grab the real camera too this phone isn't cutting it!

Thanks for looking guys!
