Today’s kettle cook.. JailHouse chicken
« on: October 08, 2018, 09:26:56 AM »
Just a quick cook on my JJ with rotisserie basket. 2 chicken thighs with quartered new potatoes.
Rubbed the thighs with evoo and basic chicken seasoning. Then I quartered about 10 small ‘taters and gave that a shot of evoo also and some potato seasoning that I have. Popped it in my Weber basket and on the roti.
So simple and SO good! My wife made some stove pears from our tree and that is one super nice dinner! https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=GT7DvHDNgKY

Should have had a few more coals to get the skin darker.., but it was so good just the way it was.
Stove pears are something Dutch ... super hard pears and you peel them like potatoes and cook them in a pan on the stove for hours.. low and slow with a shot of water in the pan and a cinnamon stick! They turn soft and are the same idea as apples in a apple pie!

Very good looking cook, I need to get a basket for the roti
Seeking a Black Sequoia I know I know, I'd settle for just the tabbed no leg grill
