Lamb shoulder steak and Hasselback Potatoes
« on: July 30, 2016, 08:51:56 AM »
Haven't posted anything in a while, but that's not for lack of grillin'.  I just haven't tried anything new....until now.  The lamb steaks I've done before.  I take a bottle of Robusto Italian Dressing by Wishbone and marinate the steaks for a few hours.  The wife liked it, but I wasn't thrilled with the cut.  Anyway, the NEW addition, Hasselback potatoes!  Just discovered them.  Here's the recipe and technique I used:  https://grillinfools.com/blog/2016/06/01/grilled-hasselback-potatoes/

REAL big hit with the missus!

Looks great!  Thanks for the Hasselback Potato recipe. I plan to make these on my grill in the near future. I have done them once a long time ago in my oven, but never on the grill.

Good stuff! I've got to do the Hasselback potatoes, they look so good. I was in Menards and saw a nifty gadget that holds the potato while you slice it. There's a wire rib-cage thing that guides your knife for the cuts. Anyone tried any kind of device like that?
