Sunday Dinner

Found a 2015 venison roast in the back of the freezer and thawed out yesterday and cut into thick steaks today and dropped in the SV for 6hrs this afternoon. Some herbed potatoes and mushrooms rounded it out. For the mushrooms I used butter, red wine, a little beef broth and the drippings from the SV bag. Cooked the shrooms in the mix and then added a little cold beef brother mixed with corn starch to thicken up. Turned out amazing. The SV is a game changer when it comes to steaks and sometimes tougher cuts like the one I used tonight.
