Not a St. Patrick's Day entry

Didn't get around to doing a St Paddy's day cook, but did fire up the smoker and do 2 racks of ribs and a 7lb pork butt. Didn't get as many pics as I wanted, but got a few. I took 2/3rds of one rack, pulled out the bones and made my own version of a McRib sandwich.
And my sister-in-law is pregnant, so every dinner must include desert. I cooked down some strawberries with sugar and puréed and poured over vanilla ice cream with chocolate syrup, then garnished with mint and a dark chocolate square.

It's the iconic symbol for the backyard. It's family/friends, food and fun. What more do you need to feel everything [is] going to be all right. As long as we can still have a BBQ in our backyard, the world seems a bit of a better place. At least for that moment. -reillyranch
