Cindy had a little lamb
« on: March 23, 2014, 04:41:55 PM »
With apologies to Sarah Josepha Hale. I asked SWMBO what she would like for dinner and she suggested lamb chops to which I readily agreed. She picked some up and I mixed a couple large smashed garlic cloves, and fresh thyme and rosemary with some EVOO and S&P. While that marinated a little but I started a fire and then put on some thick slices of sweet potato. With those well along, I added some broccoli and red pepper slabs. Shortly after the lamb went on the hottest part of the grate, but only for a little while.

Served up real nice. :) The mix I spread on the chops grilled up like a crust and gave it a great flavor. These chops just melt in your mouth and the grilled vegetables went great with them.

kettles, smokers...

Hank, you do some amazing cooks. That looks great.  Love the first shot with the flame rising through the lamb.
