A side for tomorrows cook

Cooking up some ribs tomorrow and wanted to make a good side for them....my first attempt ever at homemade baked beans.....yup, I can cook! I smoked up a pound of bacon BBQPITBOYS style and then browned up some Italian sausage and onions and then the rest went in and baked in the Weber for about 2 hours. I never had beans with sweet Italian sausage in it before....it's some GOOD stuff!

Cool Beans....as they say !!!
Did you go from dry bean or add to can....or?
Sweet Italian is one of the best in a fixup like this.....almost adds it's own layer all by itself !!!!

Canned beans. I was too busy this morning grinding meat for tonights dinner to worry about dry beans....and I am too lazy as well.

Hell, I wouldn't even know what to do with dry beans.
I could eat these beans as the meal, but no one else in the family would go for that so....I have to make ribs as an excuse for the beans.
