Not a Weber, but anybody seen anything like this before?
« on: June 14, 2018, 02:07:21 PM »
Bought it for 35 at a small antique shop in Boone, NC. Wondering about a brand name, year, or if this is even a complete smoker.

Cheers!
Dave

Welcome @Dcjeck93 , interesting little smoker you found... hope it cleans up good, that yellow looks awesome. There should be 1 maybe 2 grates and a bowl that sits in the center area of the smoker for it to be considered "complete" but I'm basing that on our Weber WSM's.  Still a very cool little smoker and hopefully someone can provide more info.  Have fun with it!!

Think that is an American made "Little Boy 2.0" off the Enola Gay. At night it should irradiate the mosquitoes.

Ok, a little search showed its made by Brinkman, they now make a Smoke n Grill, I'm wondering if yours was a "combo" smoker / firepit from its squatty size and name?  Any way, MORE PICS please and clean it up, can't wait to see it.

Saw this picture, could it possibly be the smaller version of this? Can find anything about a yellow one anywhere. Can’t wait to get her cleaned up and looking bright!

Ahhhh!
An ECB!!
Google El Cheapo Brinkman

Tons out there on use, mods and tricks.

I'm 58 and most guys I know my age started out on one of these.
They were like $50 and a WSM was 3 times that.

Have fun with it.
They can produce some suprisingly decent food.

I sold a Brinkman Smoke 'n Grill a few weeks ago... aside from the color, they're identical.  To be complete, yours should have 2 bowls - one for charcoal, one for water - and two grates.

BBQ:it's what's for dinner. Grail: 18” Custom - "The Californian"

The water pan likely fits a 18" WSM, so if you have one of the older ones with the shallower pans, you can swap it out with the pan from this.
