Dizzy birds
« on: June 10, 2018, 07:34:48 PM »
Cooked up some small chickens tonight on the performer for some meals for the week. It was the first time I put two birds on a spit, but they were little so I figured it would be a good time to try. I Ran the cooker at med high heat for around 1 1/2 hours with some apple.

When I pulled the chickens the grill was at about a medium heat so I slid thee baskets together and threw on a salmon filet real quick.

I’ve been using the bbq dragon chimney starter that @Lemons gifted me over Christmas and I have to say I really enjoy this thing. It cuts down so much on how long it takes the coals to get ready. We all know on a week night late cook waiting for coals can be a pain.

Have a good one fella’s!

The birds look perfect. I used my new electric blower this weekend to kickstart things.
