Its meant to use with a roti. I have one that is similar purchased here:

They work well for chix wings, thighs, legs, etc. By the way, the onegrill has a lot of good quality roti items if anyone is looking for something along those lines.

I use mine for wings. Come out awesome. One tip, spray or oil it with non stick. Otherwise clean up is a bitch! Plus your food comes out a whole lot easier.
