Cooking a skewer

Pork shoulder cut into strips and threaded onto the roti rod.

Yes, stole the idea from Malcom Reed. This is kind of Asian fusion, mostly Filipino. Will post later about the prep.

I sort of used this marinade, minus the Coke: http://www.seriouseats.com/recipes/2008/10/grilling-filipino-barbecue.html

Toward the end, I hit it with some Korean bbq sauce. It was real good.

I was surprised at how much the rod holds. There were a few spots where I inserted a toothpick, to hold floppy pieces. I'm real happy with how it worked, and it was fun.
