I was showing pic on my phone (probably a new kettle) to a co-worker when she saw a pork chop pic, "Thats what I want" she said, pork chops I asked, Yes she said... OK THEN. FIRE UP!! On thursday I told her I'll make pork chops if she made a cole slaw... DEAL STRUCK! Now, I was scared, pork chops can go from raw to chalk so quick. I thought about bringing my sous vide and using it, but decided against it. Friday, almost lunch time, Started chimney of coal, seasoned chops with just salt and pepper. good hot bed, on went the chops... temp check, done! They turned out great! her slaw was different, fresh, no vinegar, pineapple, heavy cream and pineapple juice... Great Lunch, did 7 chops, happy co-workers! I love the flexibility at my job...LOL
