Sunday dinner was Pizza

I had to select a Red Head to cook the pizza on it, so #1 (Vent code H) so I started the coals; I placed a few chucks of wood on the fire for some smoke.
Placed the pizza stone on Walnut chucks 3 of them (wood chucks from 1Buckie’s give away) the reason is to lift the stone off the grill is so I can slide the pizza onto the back of the cookie tray it seem easier that way.
My wife started making the pizza, pepperoni, Italian sausage (casing removed), onions, black olives and pineapple.
At about 15 minutes looked at the pizza and rotated it 180 and then another 5 minutes. After the pizza came off the grill I closed the vents and will pull the stone off today.

Don't we all. And those lucky few amongst us want another one no doubt.

Was it good? How was the crust? What did you think about the pizza stone? That's cast iron right?
If you are into artichoke hearts they pick up smoke flavor really well

It is a pizza stone not cast iron. The brand is emile henry Pizza-Stone-Black. Will try the artichoke hearts I'm assuming that they are not oily or dry type?

Minigrillin,
Sorry about not answering the crust was very nice. I lifted the ends up to check the crust and turned 180. Then pulled it. I did not get the crust shoot my bad.
