Weber Kettle Forum / Re: Weber Grill Brush Recall
Last post by dwnthehatch - June 12, 2026, 12:17:17 PM
Quote from: Andyinlz on June 11, 2026, 01:52:09 PMMy recall brush showed up yesterday via FedEx.

Only one.....although I was very clear I had 3 brushes subject to the recall.

It is an 18" Weber Cold Cleaning brush. PN 3400714

It has red plastic bristles and is to be "Use(d) only on fully cool grates and grill surfaces".

Fairly disappointing, and a poor substitute for the recalled item.

Still waiting on mine. They mentioned it was going to be a cold cleaning brush in the recall so I knew what was coming. I wonder how many are going to use it on a hot grill.

That's brutal.
I will continue using my original Weber cleaning brush.
Never had any issues.
Thanks for the update.

Welcome from Iowa. You should be able to clean off the over spray with 0000 steel wool and some dish soap. You will be surprised how it will clean up and shine. Search for forums for how to deep clean a kettle. Single edge razor blades and steel wool brings them back with some elbow grease.
