Damn, that is a serious nice cook. all organized and chefy like LOL
Wow, nice touch with the corn bread. Is that steak or steak and a pork chop? Was the garlic left whole? I haven't tried cooking them whole. Nice cook. One of my favorite things is bringing all the ingredients outside and using the cast iron.

Damn! That's awesome. Like the corn-shaped corn bread.
3 serrano, 2 passilla, 2 jalapeƱo, 2 Anaheim, 2 pound roma tonatoes,1 yellow onion diced, 3/4 cup whole clove garlic, 1 pound sirloin, 1 pound ground beef, 1 pound pork chop, 2 Deschutes porters, can each kidney and pinto beans salt and pepper.
Smoke the sirloin, chops, tomatoes and chilies, I went to 140 on the proteins and until the tomatoes split and chiles were softened. Remove and puree veg cube up proteins. Put Dutch oven on grates heat and add oil sweat onion and garlic and cook around 5 to 8 minutes add ground beef and cook almost through. Add beers bring to boil add remaining ingredients bring to simmer and put lid on Dutch oven and kettle close vents to maintain cooker temp between 275 and 300... I let it simmer for another 3 hours before serving.

None... but then again I haven't had a drop since July 4th 2010. My wife will enjoy the rest of the pack over the weekend I'm sure.

weber+cast iron can't go wrong
looks awesome. Is that cast iron cornstick pan something new or is it vintage? I finally found a nice old griswold cornstick pan and got too greedy...seller had it listed for $10 and I stupidly offered half. Seller responded later that someone else gladly paid her the $10!
Looks amazing!

Not sure it was my dad's and he wasn't using it... so I talked him out of it. I want another for sure. If I had to guess I'd say it's a newer mold

I'm inspired! Thanks for sharing.

Thanks. I may end up going that route someday; but something about finding a vintage one is more appealing for some reason.
I love your cooks Matt, everything looks delicious!

That looks fantastic! I've got to try doing a chili on the Kettle like this. Corn bread looks good to. What kind of cast iron pot is that? Lodge?

Damned fine looking cook! Nice brownie too!
HOLY GRAILS: 1950s era Black or Custom finish 18.5 or 22.5 Kettle, Brown Go Anywhere grill.
I am taking a crack at this today. Except I am using leftover brisket and bacon for my proteins and a couple of ipa for the beer.
Tastes and smells amazing so far. Thank you Chef.

When I made this I kept the peppers separate from the tomatoes when I blended them. I only added about half the peppers. The other half I put in a baggy and froze for my next batch. It still had plenty of flavor and the heat was low enough that the kids could eat it also.
That looks awesome! My favorite part is the cornbread.
