Weber Grill Forum (Grills, Accessories) / thermoworks smoke question
« Last post by bamakettles on Today at 10:06:24 AM »
i'll contact thermoworks monday but in the meantime...my smoke unit's display quit working. numbers are partially displayed. it is however still transmitting which for me is the main thing. has anyone run into this? batteries perhaps?
Did it get wet?  If so, turn it off and put it in a bag of dry rice.  I rescued my Signals that way.

Agree with @Gringo weathered black from the 76-77 depending on the top vent.  Closeup of the top vent will tell.

Weber Grill Forum (Grills, Accessories) / How to score a vintage kettle?

I think it is black and weathered to a greyish. I had same grill and had same color. I don’t think Weber made gray in 70’s or at least that shade. Nice grill though!  Mine was a 77 and looks identical.

I saw this at an estate sale on Friday.  I think it dates back to 1977.  I couldn't find much online about  the color though, which is some form of gray.  The handle is wood and secured with what looks like two rivets.  The wheels are of the more recent design, black with the white whitewall that says Weber.  Can anyone shed some light on this?
