Very nice ! ! !

I really like the pre-Gourmet System Wok.  But I really, really, curious how the Steak Ring is supposed to work ! ! !

Awesome find!   Does it have any Weber branding anywhere on it?

This charcoal bin seems to have been much more common.

Great find! It does look to be in like new condition. A holy grail for many including me. As you said, hard to believe so few exist for being made for nearly 20 years. It is much larger that I had pictured in my mind.

Very nice, you don't see those every day.  Congratulations!

That’s what the wife has said when it showed up rolling her eyes…

After two years of hunting and searching using random descriptions like umbrella holder and fireplace accessories I scored a grail of mine… an oversized Duracell battery.

Weber sold this canister on a tilting stand to store charcoal. It was available from mid 50s right through to the early 70s which is just short of two decades, this surprises me that only a handful or two have been discovered and in collector hands. The base is black metal and the lid is a copper colour shaped to also act as a scoop.

Its massive sitting next to the late 50s Californian 18” kettle, standing at around 750mm tall. Such a cool accessory and in amazing condition for its age. It appears to have little to no use and is one of very few in this great original shape. It’s the first one on Aussie soil and I am so stoked that I stumbled across this on an eBay listing a few weeks back and grateful it now joins the fleet of other grills from that similar period.
