Weber Grill Forum (Grills, Accessories) / How to score a vintage kettle?
« Last post by Gringo on Today at 09:05:03 AM »
I think it is black and weathered to a greyish. I had same grill and had same color. I don’t think Weber made gray in 70’s or at least that shade. Nice grill though!  Mine was a 77 and looks identical.

I saw this at an estate sale on Friday.  I think it dates back to 1977.  I couldn't find much online about  the color though, which is some form of gray.  The handle is wood and secured with what looks like two rivets.  The wheels are of the more recent design, black with the white whitewall that says Weber.  Can anyone shed some light on this?

Actually, I always knew they were cool! This is circa ‘87 for you young’uns.

Our first Weber was a new one purchased in ‘78 [emoji16]

Is that a pair of Glen Blue shorts ? Looking good. I wish I could get away with wearing those at my age. Nice shot of some historic grills.

Let’s lighten the mood a bit by getting back to grills.
