Thanks. We didn't have any damage at home or here at work. Sounding now like it was another small derecho rather than a tornado. An EF0 possible in Iowa City. Looks like it will all be out of here by this evening.

Glad to hear you and yours are okay, ASpitzer.
Y'all are just getting hammered recently. Stay safe.
This season has really been a tough one all over.

Awakened this morning by the tornado sirens blasting. High winds and sheets of rain. One tornado possible a few miles west of us but was rain wrapped so not certain. Another, possibly the same one 2 miles north of town, also rain wrapped. No reports of damage yet. Looks like we are in for it all day long. Lots of high winds and heavy rains. Will keep aware of the warnings today.

Is that parchment paper?  I did something similar in foil awhile back but I like the parchment idea better.  Can't wait to try this.  Maybe tonight
Yes, parchment paper, I rarely use foil with this type of cook

Nice, I wouldn’t be able to pass that up for $20 either.

Anyone ever installed one of the old-style bails onto an 18" kettle?
I've got an old junker performer (post SS) whose
bail I've been considering installing on my 18",
but I hate to be drilling holes into it if won't work.

How do you put a value on something like this?
Or does it just come down to whatever someone is willing to pay for it?
How did they figure it to be a 1975?
I thought Weber didn't start date-coding until 1979.
