Love that first pic. Great looking meal. Was that the butt rub you used on the brisket? How did that turn out? How long did you smoke the turds for and how much of an impact on the heat of the habaneros?

Thanks ken, I'm a real fan of Bad Byrons Butt Rub. I dont think I've put it any anything that it didn't taste great on. The turds I only gave about one piece of wood they just absorb to much smoke otherwise. As for the Hab's I only made the four at the top in the first pic. They were nice and warm. I had three and my 11 year old daughter had the last......... bad idea. Three glasses of milk and some tears later she said "that wasn't that bad" Funny stuff! I think my wife filmed it.

Thanks for the reply Bob. I was curious to see how the 'pork' rub went on beef. I have a shaker of BBBR (and some Plowboys Bovine Bold and Yardbird) on its way to me and keen to give it a try.

When you say too much smoke is that to your tolerance of the smoke flavour or do you think it impacts the heat/flavour of the actual turd ingredients?

As for the habs, I would be keen to try that, our local supermarket has them regularly now so I will need to give it a try, hopefully no tears! ;)
