So today I got home from work at 7:30 am and got busy!!
First a little review:

Garlic and onion slivers,

Mustard massage!

Some homemade rub,

Meanwhile, out in the 22.5 OTG, we have a  2x2 counterclockwise snake of Comp.K with apple wood chunks.

Meat on at 8:30.

About 3 hours later. Holding 250°-300°

9 hours. Bone is ready to fall out!

Foiled, wrapped in towels at 5:30 pm. Sat in the cooler for an hour.

Plenty of time for my son to grill some poppers on the 18.5 OTS!!

Ready to pull!

Let's eat!

The last pic does not do it justice. The pork pulled apart nicely, was moist and tender. I want to thank everyone, and especially Buckie for the help and guidance. :D

That's the most perfect charcoal snake I have ever seen. Great cook there, buddy. It's always nice to make bbq a family thing too.

The whole deal;......JUST GREAT !!!!!

The young guy doin' it up on the apps, the trials of not being able to get going when you want to, perfect snake, smooth cookup, garlic & onion  (nice touch...I do that with clod roast), gorgeous color, nice pull ~~~> great hi-speed action shot of the bear claws !!!!

I'm so glad people can quickly get the hang of doing great, real live BBQ on a simple kettle......
Sharp, sharp job, man !!!!'

Glad you & your family had a great dinner, cooked at home, better than MOST restaurants you could even think of......again grate job !!!!

Wow, that looks to be perfect!  Congrats on a job well done.  And that's the purdyest charcoal snake I've ever seen.

It worked fine! The onions and garlic were so well cooked down that they were undetectable in the pull. The flavor was really good.

I hope I never tire of looking at perfectly-pulled-pork!  Everything looks like it was worth the wait.  But I gotta say --- you are one OCD S.O.B. when it comes to stacking up a snake ring.  lol  I like it!
I've always had gas...  And now a bunch of kettles because of this place.  Thanks!
