British Columbia Cheapskate
« on: August 18, 2024, 12:14:02 PM »
Hello everyone.  Just joined to take a look around and ask some questions.  I just bought a Weber Kettle off of Facebook and will need information.   The kettle was advertised as a 22, but was actually an 18.  But for $20, who could resist.  I assume if I like it I will go for a 22 eventually. My wife will be annoyed about another grill, but every one of them has been vital.  😄

Oh this is the just the latest in my grill acquisition issues.  I was running through the grills I have while writing my first post and I have to say that I do understand why my wife has some issues with me.  Currently I have three gas grills, two portable charcoal grills, a Blackstone flat top grill and a Primo XL ceramic grill.  (This does not count the new to me Weber Kettle)  And those are just the current inventory.  Each and every one of them has a specific purpose and reason for acquisition.

I do have to say that without having used the weber, so far the Primo has been my favourite.  Since I needed something for a new place on Vancouver Island, the Weber is a no brainer, as long as it lives up to its reputation.

I do wish it had been the 22 that it was advertised as.

Seeking a Black Sequoia I know I know, I'd settle for just the tabbed no leg grill

Welcome from Huntsville, AL Although I have many 18s I don’t use them much….  Of all my 18s the Jumbo gets the most use, usually on a beach vacation or long weekend at the lake.  Have fun with that one, looks nice!
