Roti Picahna
« on: January 07, 2024, 05:41:18 AM »
First time ever cooking this cut. Ordered from WF foods. @jebivswife made the chimichurri sauce, which made a really nice flavor addition to the beef. Potatoes in the pan, green beans wrapped in foil. We really enjoyed it, and it looks cool on the roti LOL . Enough left over for steak and potatoes and eggs and some lunches.

Looks like a fun cook and fun eats….. I’ve not tried that cut either, was it tender and how far did you take the IT?  I really like WF - quality meats.

We have a Picahna in the freezer. I've cooked it once before but as a whole roast. I love this and will have to try!

You nailed the pichana cook!

I have a WFF prime pichana in the freezer that needs cooked. It will be rotisserie cooked too

Happy New Year

Cheers

This is on my 2024 to-cook list.  It’s probably the only beef I’ve not cooked yet.

Wild Fork offers this cut in "Prime" grade, which I feel is far superior in taste compared to "Choice" grade.
