My wife and kids just came back from a trip out to Pittsburgh to visit my MIL and other family. During their trip to Pittsburgh, my wife and son went to visit a college friend in Dayton. Knowing they were heading out that way, I scouted for grills on CL in both locations. I found a particularly nice early ‘70s redhead listed in Dayton and began subtly suggesting that my wife pick it up for me. Well, maybe not subtly at times [emoji57]
She kept saying no, not going to have time, it’s too far, etc. So I gave up having any real hope that she would do me this favor.
Anyway, they just got home and needed some help unloading the van. Guess who is the new owner of a beautiful early 70s grill? She pulled a fast one on me and I couldn’t be happier!
She also mentioned that the seller is a fellow member and was a super nice person. Whom ever you are, thank you for helping my wife with the surprise and loading it in the van!
CL pick for now, update pics when I get to cleaning her up. Cheers all!
