White Plastic Wheels on 70’s Kettles?
«

I picked up this 18 red kettle recently and need to know if the wheels are Weber OG or not? This is the second or third kettle from the 70’s with the same type of white plastic wheels with a somewhat aggressive type of rubber. Please let me know if you can help.

Doesn’t look OG to me, but will let more experienced members confirm. Good looking nonetheless

I was just about to type "Looks like something bamakettles would do" LOL
That grill is beautiful, great find! And the handle looks new, since you got hold of it.

Thanks everyone! Did this small tab lid and bowl vent kettle originally have steel wheels? Thinking it is from mid-70’s. Look right?

Yours has a patent number on the lid vent so this grill would have had plastic wheels originally.
Patent pending grills could have steel or plastic wheels depending on the year. Pre patent grills where all steel.
