To be honest, I was back and forth on this since I learned the price a while back.

I have more grills than I really need and I've been able to find most in the wild reasonably priced.

The hunt, meeting some nice folks and learning the stories behind the finds has been the fun part of this hobby.

I've been looking for the ever elusive gourmet since I started. Hasn't happened thus far and I really wanted a yellow to round things out.

Well, I pulled the trigger Tuesday morning and it arrived today.

Wasn't sure what to expect but I will say I was impressed. Only my second grill out of the box new and this one is flawless.

In fact, It looks fantastic. I was thinking the plastic wood handles would look cheap. I was wrong. They are very natural in look and feel. Nicely engineered and should stand up to the weather.

It was getting late so not a lot of pics. I'm looking forward to getting this one hot soon!!

Looks really nice and yes - flawless!  Good to hear and looking forward to seeing your cooks on it.

Glad to hear everything looks good on the kettle.  Premium price should command premium product.   I think Weber leadership knows people will scrutinize the hell out of the enamel.

Does anyone know what the bottom tray is made of?  Hopefully, aluminum or something that will not rust.

So happy with yellow. I wanted to wait and see how good the quality was. Think I am gonna go ahead & order the green now!

Horsman was disappointed with the quality. Higher price equals higher expectations.

My new Hot Rod Yellow has the exact same problem as Horsman's grill.  I did file a claim.  We'll see what happens.  I'm pretty upset to have spent over $400 just to have a bent lid that doesn't fit.  .

Exactly what I was talking about in my Diner Green post..... my vintage kettles have an almost comfortable feel when placing the lid on the bowl with an assuring clunk.  My 2021 Glen Blue 26 has the same characteristic as does my 2017 red LE.  This one is a bit more challenging just to seat the lid as if things are out of round.  It's pretty, but would be cumbersome as a daily driver IMO.
