That's what I'm talking about Brother!  After living at the Outer Banks for a few years the only way we dress pulled pork is vinegar based sauce made with Texas Pete hot sauce and red pepper flakes.  For the non-NC initiated, Texas Pete is made in North Carolina...

Next time you make vinegar sauce pulled pork try serving with coleslaw on the side, banana pudding for dessert and wash it all down with the table wine of the south; sweet tea.  Pretty much every little joint I went to served that way - super fun and delicious regional cuisine. 

Ironically, her majesty has requested I smoke Carolina style pulled pork shoulder tomorrow.  Can't wait!
