Hello from southern Indiana
« on: August 03, 2020, 07:43:24 PM »
Hello, found this forum while searching for the age of my first kettle. Very interesting info on here. I have been cooking on a kamado for years but have recently taken a liking to cooking on a weber kettle. Purchased my first kettle to make chicken wings. I have a 2007 22 inch OTG, a 2016 18 inch OTS, and on satuday evening I picked up a 1998 22 inch kettle that a neighbor had put out by his mailbox. Haven't had time yet to clean it up. It has the 3 vents on the bottom instead of the one touch cleaning kit. It is missing the ash catcher and has some minor damage to the legs that I believe I can fix. Looks to be in pretty good condition overall. Would really love to get a 26 incher someday!

Welcome from just south of Chicago, IL!
I swear, when I score a great deal on a 26" I'll stop buying grills... So often.
