No knead crusty bread in a Dutch oven. Was so excited during the process I didn’t get pics of the process just the final product.

Finished product, didn’t get the cooking pics. Think I may have had to many beers in the middle of the day.

Nice!!  Any tips/tricks you can share?  I have never had success making bread, either in the oven nor on the kettle.

First step is to not start drinking at lunch, not sure how the Europeans do it.
Here’s the recipe I use. https://www.kingarthurflour.com/recipes/no-knead-crusty-white-bread-recipe
This is the how to use the Dutch oven, makes it so much better. https://www.kingarthurflour.com/blog/2017/02/21/bread-baking-dutch-oven
A word to the wise don’t take your gloves off when handling the Dutch oven,I burnt the shit out of my fingers. Guess that also goes back to the not start drinking at lunch thing. I use lump to get it hot enough, think my cooking times ran about 35 minutes covered and 10 minutes uncovered. Also used half the dough per loaf in a 5 Qt lodge cast iron Dutch oven.

I’ve had good luck with this recipe in my Dutch oven.

I never made bread in the dutch oven. I have cooked plenty in the “Kettle Pizza” it’s like going to a bakery. As for the not drinking before noon... not sure about that. 😂
Wife said "No more GRILLS in this house!" So I bought a 2nd house!
