Hi everybody. I am from Colorado just outside of Colorado Springs. We love this forum and have taken the advice and tips and had a blast this summer/fall. We converted an old Weber (that looks like at least parts of it were from the 70s) this past summer into a pizza oven. We didn't know the collectible nature before we did it. Way back in the 80s when my husband and I started dating, the first dinner he cooked for me was grilled chicken on his Smokey Joe so we have been Weber fans for along time, actually his Dad had Webers since the 60s so my husband has always loved them. We now have a 22inch converted pizza oven, a brand new 22 inch still in the box, an older Smokey Joe, a Propane Spirit from the early 2000s, an 18 inch WSM, another 22 inch and and 22 inch performer. I am hoping to find a Ranch for my husband- he would love one. I very rarely purchase anything new and am always looking for fair deals. I scored our WSM this summer for $40.00.
