Breaking in the homer
« on: June 07, 2013, 03:45:14 PM »
Ok so I must place a warning at the beginning of this post I never use lighter fluid!!!

But to properly break in this grill with true Homer fashion...

After the smell of lighter fluid died off finally, I was able to start dinner.

Nothing fancy just some rubbed down chicken breast and sweet Italian sausage over lump charcoal.

Quickly sauced to balance the rub out, and plated up.

Thanks for looking!

Lol thanks guys, yes this was a one time deal. The smell of it just drove me crazy I have no idea how people use it all the time. I just remembered I had pure grain alcohol here too that would have done the trick even better!

You know, that is a possible tagline alert.  ::) :P
Could I have permission to use that? ... I need to replace that awesome Samuel L. Jackson one I currently have going ..

EDIT: I got thinking ... and, I don't want to delete that one, so maybe I could just add another one, eh?!!??!  :o :o
