I had two bushels of fresh oysters on Super Bowl Sunday and had a few leftover.

While oysters were on the grill this evening, I shucked the about seven dozen to make oyster po boys for dinner on Tuesday.

Bacon wrapped gator
Only way I have had gator was in jerky or snack stick form. That looks great.

Just WOW!  Never seen anything like that, first thought was that your wife allowed that on your kitchen countertop??  Looks time consuming at the least.  Very cool!

Oysters look amazing too, nice job!

Boneless skinless chicken thighs Vortex style with a chunk of apple wood.  Turned out really nice.  The apple wood gave it a sweet taste with a hint of smoke.  It's incredible seasoning on the thighs which is a favorite for chicken.  And yeah, shells n cheese cuz I'm a kid at heart. ; )

Two bushels of oysters were purchased on Saturday for Super bowl Sunday. I swear the fish market gave me close to three bushels or about 300 oysters.

I made oyster po' boys for dinner and still had three dozen left on ice. After dinner I texted my neighbor and asked if he wanted to drink a beer and help me finish eating the remaining oysters. He fired up the free  22" black kettle I gave him a few months ago. We finished off the last three dozen oysters.

I pretty sure I've eaten 80-90 oysters over the last four days.

Cheers

Those fried oysters look perfect..... Nice looking po' boys!

Cool that you're getting your neighbor into Weber grilling as well.
