Going to cook some burgers later on today. I could search the net but I thought I would ask the "pros" here about a good mac and cheese on the kettle recipe along with time and temps. Go

Great question—I look forward to hearing the answers too. Always wanted to try it on the Kettle.

I know there are going to be some good ones on here.

Pick your favorite recipe and cook it indirect with a small piece of smoke wood. A little smoke goes a long way with Mac n cheese. I used howtobbqright recipe on YouTube as a base. I have since changed it quite a bit.  I use Gouda, sharp cheddar, Monterey Jack, and colby jack. The most important thing to remember is don't let the cheese separate when warming the sauce. It doesn't even need to be melted all the way. If it's boiled or separated, it will have a grainy texture at the end and not creamy.

That is good advice. That must have been what happened with mine since the texture wasn't creamy. This was my attempt at it http://weberkettleclub.com/forums/index.php?topic=34349.0

I did the how to bbq right Mac n Cheese like Hoosierkettle.  Cooked it in the basement in using my lodge Dutch oven.  The bacon panko crumble topped is good stuff.

This thread made me want Mac and cheese again. This is my own recipe. It has 7 cheeses

Had to give it a try, too. This is my version (with less cheese than advised).
