Weber Grill class
« on: June 16, 2018, 11:01:34 AM »
Just finished a Weber Grill class “Hands On! Meat” at the restaurant in Lombard, Illinois. We cooked; Beer Can Chicken, Carolina Mustard Glazed Bone In Pork Chops, Chimichurri Skirt Steak & Grilled Honey Glazed Watermelon with Vanilla Ice Cream.
If you ever have a chance to attend any of the Weber Grill classes, I highly recommend them. They are educational, you meet new friends and you eat everything you grill! Plus, it gives me an opportunity for a Bloody Mary at 9:30AM with a beer chaser.
The last pic is me with Chef Klaus Lotter. What a great way to spend a Saturday morning. Happy Father’s Day everyone! (pic heavy)

Sorry for the delay in responding @Smoke Freak, it is just salt, cook each side ~ 4 to 5 minutes and glaze with honey on the 2nd side only, serve with vanilla ice cream. It was pretty good, pineapples remain my favorite.

This is good to hear. I've always been curious about grilling classes. Might have to check this out.

@Larry , that looks awesome!  I'll have to check that out.  Real quick though,  on the water melon,  even you say 4-5 a side,  that is over direct heat?
