Bachelor Friday night meal
« on: June 08, 2018, 04:00:47 PM »
Well, my daughter and wife had some girl time tonight and went to a movie.  I offered my son a steak (his favorite), which he declined and asks for chick fil a ?   I know....

So, I pick me up a beautiful ribeye for dinner and a porterhouse pork chop for my lunch at work tomorrow.

Lovely night to take “Christine” for a ridehe deserves to wear a bag on his head
reverse seared them both.

Thanks for looking.

He deserves more than a bag on his head. A foot on the rear end....those steaks look amazing....

What wood did you use with your steak? Also how long did it take to cook the steak?

I used a little hunk of hickory on top of the grate.   Oak is good too.  I reverse sear my steaks.  I probably left it indirect for 15 minutes.  Then I sear with lid off one minute per side.  That usually gets medium rare.
