Pork shoulder with a snake

Decided to try my hand at doing a pork shoulder using the snake method. Those are cherry chips along the left side ready to smoke along the way. Does anyone wrap their shoulder in foil after a few hours? Thinking about trying that. Will update photo in a couple hours or so.

I have never wrapped one myself, but it seems to be fairly common for people to wrap them around 160

. Here we are so far. I did go ahead and wrap in foil. Going to give it a couple more hours or so and see what happens.
