Inspiration kettles- Copper SJG and Spring Green SJG. These are also hard to come by, so I modded SJ to make them look a like SJG.

Build thread- http://weberkettleclub.com/forums/weber-grill-modifications-customs/sj-transformation/msg320939/#msg320939

Here they are with my other true SJGs. One on the top is a true Grass Green SJ.

I'm not much of a crazy off the deep end mod freak so this might be my only mod, so here we go.
Fasten you seat belts low and slow and don't stand up in the ride until it comes to a complete stop.
As some of you may have seen before I have a new style JJ that I use quite a lot and because I'm selling my house and down sizing I wanted to do everything I can do with my Smoke Gray MT on my JJ.
I also wanted to use mostly Weber items to mod it.

Wow.. that's a lot of photos! Time for a cup of coffee.

Things I haven't done yet:
SS ash sweeper handle to be mounted to the lower air vent, and a sidekick table.

Thank you very much for looking.

Matt I don't recall reading how or what you made the rotisserie ring from? I also want to know what size food service/water pan that is and if you needed anything special to trim it. And is that cover actually made the JJ or another grill?

P.S. Show that GBS grate around here just one more time and some of us will launch a revolt.

The lid on the grill is a late model 18" Euro Premium with the factory thermometer. I did not want to cut the lid to place the thermometer, and I added the vent handle to the vent first and then drilled the rivet out of the premium lid to swap vents. To keep my serial #
The roti ring I got in my last buy..

another 18" premium that some one used a Weber 22" rotisserie kit with. The old owner just cut the ring down the weld seam and over lapped the ends and shot some screws in it. It was ugly and did not fit good so I cut the over lap off and re-engineered it to fit better. I then made a new spit rod out of 5/16 SS and ground the 2 notches in it in the correct places.
The drip pan is a 1/3 size at 65mm deep. Trimmed (small grinder) the corners and then took about 1/8 off the long back to give it a little wiggle room.

The water / steam pan I just picked up today! It's a 1/9 size by 65mm (smallest made).

My own version of Special Edition build kettles.

Inspiration kettle - 2016 German only winter special Copper Master touch kettle.
It is the european version of Master Touch 57cm - and the "copper color" is very popular. These kettles are hopelessly sould out  :'(
But in the summer afternoon light seem great :)
