In order to celebrate another successful mission of the Space X Dragon capsule, i decided a tri-tip and artichoke was in order

The Dragon capsule is a supply ship that goes to the International Space Station and is the only one to survive re-entry and land back on Earth.

It just looks like a small football of meet, very lean.  So maybe it goes by a different name in your area.  I paid $4.25 a pound over the weekend (Chicago) -about the going rate for tip sirlon roast.  I wonder if cut slightly different or with a different name it'll command a higher price.

Well you learn something new every day! I never knew meat cuts were standardized to that extent!
