The Mitten State meetup - *UPDATE Aug 26th*

It's time, we have a growing crew here in Michigan and it is time to have our own meetup.

At this point I can only suggest possible dates of Aug 26th or Sept 2nd.  A location is TBD, it will likely be a park close to where I live in case we need supplies or an extra kettle.

I have a pop up shelter that we can use and basically we will pick a spot in the park bring our kettles and cook away.

Hopefully everyone can attend. I think the August date will work better. People most likely be busy labor day weekend. Now we need a good location. Any ideas @LightningBoldtz. Metro beach, Stoney Creek, or a smaller city park??

Send me suggestions, I was thinking a smaller free park, there is a nice one that I am familiar with here in Sterling Hts called Dodge Park, that is an option.
I dont' want to rent a pavilion.
