Grilled Salmon and Shark
« on: July 22, 2017, 05:50:56 PM »
Publix had wild, fresh sockeye salmon filets and fresh black-tip shark loins on sale today. I love grilled fish so I bought a piece of each. My pics aren't that great, but the fish was.

Red was up in the rotation

I expected the wild salmon to have the best flavor, but the black-tip out shined it flavor wise by a mile. Both were seasoned the same and both grilled to 145ish. The salmon was really good but the shark was great. And that's cool b/c the shark is about a third as much :)

Thanks. The leftovers made some great grilled fish dip.

Multiple kettles and WSM's. I am not a collector, just a gatherer... and a sick bastard.
