I reuse a large old spice container from Costco. Some have two sides so you can do a shake or a pour.

I use this winco "dredge": https://www.amazon.com/Winware-10-Ounce-Polycarbonate-Dredge-Snap/dp/B001CI8X4E/ it's not the highest quality but works fine for home and small party use. I highly recommend getting on with an adjustable size openings as some spices need the bigger holes to get through. A bigger one like mlewkowicz would work better for high volume cooking.

I go through about a container of this every year - it's my go to for cooking chicken. I've saved several empty containers over the years, and fill them with whatever rubs I concoct.

I'll second reusing empty rub and spice containers.
