Is the Weber performer deluxe worth $175? If in good condition.?

With any of 'em, they are worth what you will pay. Some guys are just looking for bargains, some will pay A LOT for a collectible.

That said, is it in a condition you will be happy with? Will you feel buyers remorse? Will your children go without food?

I've paid $150 for an SSP that I am now giving away. I would have paid more, because I really liked the cooker. And I did cook many great meals on it. It was worth the price.

You kind of have to forget about the small bucks difference and think about what you are going to do with the grill. Do you like looking at it? Enjoy it for years? Pay the little extra. Buy it as a collectible? Brother, that's up to you.

I have not seen it yet. I think the new ones are about $400.
The one I want is $200. I don't think all the other things are necessary I guess. I don't know.

My suggestion..pay/offer what you think its worth.

That said..that model will sell extremely quick around here at $200.

I thought it might. I have never seen one up close. I'm waiting for the guy to send me photos.

My answer is yes. It's worth it. You won't be sorry... believe me.
Multiple kettles and WSM's. I am not a collector, just a gatherer... and a sick bastard.

Think about it this way. The metal table is worth $75 new from Weber. So you are getting the rest for only $100.
Many here have an older model performer that would love to upgrade to the newer style metal table. Problem is the new metal table will add to your initial cost.

I was one of them as I had picked up a Gen2 black kettle gas assist performer in good condition (no rust) for $150 plus a three hour road trip.
Then I purchased a few new upgrades:
- new metal table $80
- new wheels $12
- 1998 SSP Redhead for lid/bowl.....$125
- GBS grate... $35
- warming rack $26
- GBS skillet $35
- GBS cast iron searing $35
- wide lid bail $17
- performer cover $59

As you can see, I have way more than what a new Performer Deluxe is worth. To me, it's worth it as I will enjoy cooking in it for many years.

If it's in good shape, it's definitely worth it.
Is this the deluxe model? I don't see gas assist.

@Joetee that is the deluxe model with gas assist, see the lighting instructions on the grey flip up panel. The blue is a great color. It looks to be in pretty good shape. I would go for it at that price. Great grill. First two upgrades- 1) new style lid bale + rollers. 2) new style black metal table. Done and Done. Good luck-
