I noticed that the porcelain is rippled in a couple areas.  You can really see it in this pic.  Anyone ever seen this?

Thanks for perving!

And this happens only when it's heated up, right?

Craig

That yellow is awesome! Love the orange sunset glow the yellows get when hot.  8)

No it's always like that. All the way around. There is indentations  where the welds are for the grate holders. It's kind of strange. Finish isn't smooth on bowl.

Looks great! I have a couple with the dimples where the grate welds are. But I am sure you can live with that. Sweet Kettle!

The whole family are finally together.  Some of the family may be leaving the nest soon.

The grey 18 and the Maroon SS Performer are likely to head out soon.

Show up at the next block party with this! :o

So on my way out after another great WKC Show & Shine, I spot this sweet creation near the exit. I'm not sure if it took any trophys today, but deserves at least an honorable mention. The competition was really stiff this year as you can see from the other pictures posted here, so it may have been passed over by the judges. I did notice it had an O'Neal handle, so the builder obviously isn't a novice. Anyways here it is!

Here it is garaged. 8)

I know some of you probably got some pictures of grills I missed, so keep posting them.

I love the apehangers! :D

Craig

THAT is the epitome of COOL!! Very nice work Duke!!

Heyjude

Cool...  A low rider... I also love the duplication of the chips and dings, those are so hard to replicate like originals..  8)
I don't care if you don't like my Avatar, its there for me..

Thanks, it was a fun build. I can just imagine wheeling this down the street to the beach or to the block party while it's already cooking. ;D
