Fantastic.

What is the red strap you hung the hood on.  Is that a Duke or Weber thing?  I have not seem one before but think it is a great idea.

Great job, your the master.

Thanks again guys, the made the red lid bale to hold the lid at an angle or you can hang it. It was just something these carts really need. I took a piece of metal off of it that I believe was meant too be to hold the lid, but couldn't figure out how? So again, I just made something that would work.

Sold to Ron the high bidder!  :D

Hey Duke...does the inside of that lid holder have some sort of cushioning on it to keep from scratching the lid?
You couldn't save or make the original lid holder that goes toward the bottom of the cart?
Kettle collector AND cooker!

OUT-F***ING-STANDING! Looks brand new again. I really am digging the red wheels. I'm seriously considering doing that wheel color with one of mine. Thanks for kicking off S&S '13!  That's a tough act to follow.

Another outstanding build Duke! Just amazing!!!

Thanks again for the compliments! Jeff, whatever the original was meant to be it was a bad design. It's some sort of two metal hook thing. I only have one hook and was thinking of making a copy when I realized it was a lousy design. As far as my design scratching the lid it's unlikely. The weber one definitly would though. Mine is smooth and has a curve that helps it seat well when it's tilted back. It sits very comfortable in that position without any possiblility of falling. You can also just hook it right on like I show in the picture to get it completely out of the way. I like that I can easily move it just to turn the food and then set it right back on wih ease. It also doubles as a utensil hook.

Heyjude

Thats some of your best work to date. I am always impressed. Don't forget to sign your work!
Someday the archaeologists are going to find that and wonder who the Genius was that crafted it.
We'll probably see it on a future episode of the Antiques Roadshow.  Really amazing.

It's a little tradition we brought from the previous site we were a part of. Just show off some of the grills you aquired this year and tell a little about them. It's kind of like a a grill show with a car show tone.  :D
