Starting with a cornbread and flour mix bun it's a southern thing cornbread ya know

9 oz boneless beefrib

9 oz lean sirloin

4 oz pork fat just because I can

Cubed up salt and pepper and sumac? They tell me sumac  is a southern berry of sorts and used in odd recipes so it fit the theme smells and tastes good too back into the fridge to chill before the grind

Ground up and pattied

Chestnut Coppertone called for the bun bake

Of course there has to be "Fried Green Tomatoes" watch the movie

The cado renamed the " Mato" for today's cook gets the call for frying with an assist from a rib rack and the Seville for drying

Okra fries we are in the south!

The 18 Woodale has burger duty

Siracha mayo for the bottom bun

Fried Green tomato on  and tip of the top bun to the WKC and our sponsor ABC

Burger topped with pimento cheese and the fries and we are ready to eat

I have to give a big thanks to wife Tami for helping out with all this I didn't get a pic of her making the pimento cheese. The " Mato" and the Seville are her grills so we went in halves on this whole deal we hope you like the cook we had a blast doing it!!

Hot damn!!  Amazing post, @JEBIV!  I love the Southern theme, the use of multiple vintage grills, and the efforts to document each step.  Bravo, sir.  Bravo.

Holy smokes! You went all out! Those look great! I also love how you employed a Chestnut, an Avocado and a red kettle for the cook. Does my heart proud to see the oldies in action. Nice work!
