Last minute ribs
« on: April 09, 2017, 12:47:01 PM »
Haven't posted a cook in awhile so I thought I'd share this one.  Cooking about 300 today with sugar maple and pecan chunks
Finished product.  Kinda followed Malcolm reed's competition rib recipe.  Didn't finish with any sauce though and cooked them hot and fast.  Total cook time of 3 hrs.  Pretty happy with how they turned out

After about an hour sprayed with cider vinegar and apple juice mixresdy to wrap, finished with a little more rub, honey and butter.  Back on the grill for the last hour meat side down.  fin

I like your use of baskets as the barrier, Kemmons. Beautiful day today to have the cooker fired. [emoji106]
